Hello. It's me. (no, really)
We have a few topics to discus today, so let's get to it.
First of all: The Club. Yesterday's meeting went... less than good. Okay, those who are checking this blog, (I commend you) it wasn't terrible. I got out what I had to say and we ate brownies. That's all good. But I felt there could have been a LITTLE more focus. I know, I know, it's not school. But if we're going to do this club, we might as well... do it well.
Secondly, the types of Pyrthens. We have already heard the backstory, so you know that there are the humans, the wolf-like Pyrthe, and the mixed Pyrthens. Personally, I think the Pyrthens are pretty great. Best of both worlds, am I right? But certain people tend to...disagree... with me on that, so that should satisfy anyone who wants to be different...you weirdos...kidding....
Now, there is one more species, called the High Pyrthe. The High Pyrthe are a species of Pyrthe, but while Pyrthe have a lot of hair, High Pyrthe have about as much as humans. Their skin is usually REALLY pale or REALLY dark, and while those can be seen on regular Pyrthe or Pyrthens, it is very rare.
There are also a few other characteristics of High Pyrthe. They are very convincing, not easily persuaded, immune to most disease and poisons, have high tempers, and have very low stamina. This basically means most High Pyrthe have a lot of difficulty doing normal activities or exercises. For instance, it might take a High Pyrthe a few months to learn a sport that otherwise might be learned in a week. They can be very good allies, though. As said before, they are very convincing, and immune to most poisons, which makes them very powerful and hard to kill, excepting in combat or any other physical activities.
Sadly, High Pyrthe are very rare, and since they have such low stamina, many have died at birth.

Backstory (PYRTHEpyrthePyrthe)
Hi.
So. I'm sorry for not posting much over the break, and I do hope all of you had lovely holidays and a good New Years as well.
I have thought up a backstory that will hopefully satisfy everyone. So let's just get into that. I'm going to be telling it like a story (just a heads up).
There once was a planet that orbited two suns. It was a lively planet, with many species living there. One very species was called the pyrthe, and that is the very species we will be focusing on today.
I feel like I should mention that all of this is taking place hundreds of years into the future. (Also, today's date is 1/5/2016, or January 5, 2016.) Well, now that that's been mentioned, let's move on.
The pyrthe were wolf-like creatures. If you can imagine werewolves, in their wolf form, then that is about what they look like.
So, Earth. Earth was sending many spaceships across the galaxy, looking for interesting planets. Now, Pyrthe (the planet) is hidden by a magical cloaking device powered by (what else) crystals, so the spaceships could not see it through their radar. It was hidden because there were many other life forms seeking knowledge had already been to call, and the pyrthe had long since realized that they could do something to prevent that. So they did.
Anyway, there was one spaceship that had been heading through Pyrthe's system, and the gravitational pull was too strong for it (it was not a very high quality spaceship) so it was pulled into orbit of the two suns, around the same orbital path as Pyrthe. In it's efforts to escape from orbit, it crashed into Pyrthe, near the pyrthe's main camp. (By the way, Pyrthe was not called Pyrthe at the time. It was later named that by the pyrthens.) The pyrthe found the humans there, wounded but alive. It was quite a crew, of about 60 people in all. The pyrthe took the humans in, and together they built the Crystal Empire / Crystal City. Other stuff happened, too, like eventually a human fell in love with a pyrthe, and, well, you could figure out the rest (the pyrthe being mainly furry humans). Together they created the pyrthens, a furry creature that was less furry then the pyrthe.
Now there are some pyrhte and humans that remain unchanged throughout the years, but what you mainly have is pyrthens.

I haven't posted in a bit, but I'm here now. So let's get things done.
Today I want to talk to you guys about CC's religion.
So, pyrthens have a god and a goddess. The god's name is Kutar (KU-tar), and the goddess's name is Raani (RA-ah-nee). They are basically the gods of Pyrthe, or at least CC. If you are confused by the acronym CC, it means Crystal City. Just wanted to put that out there. Anyway. Back to the religion.
We have 2 days a "year" that we worship the gods as a city / nation. The days we worship them are when one of the stars that we orbit comes directly comes in front of the other. The "year" is over when the blue-white-silver star comes in front of the red one.
Now, I do have more to say about the pyrthens. I drew a model of the pyrthens in art class, and some things have been finalized. Pyrthens have furry tails, and cat-like ears on the sides of their heads (where human ears are).

So I haven't posted in a few days, but there has not been much news. Today, though, there is. Yay!
Anyway. Let's move onto the news.
Now I would first like to give an update on the number of citizens. We have nearly or over 40, and we are pretty much going to stay there. At least for now. Secondly, a few more things have been made. The city has still not been built, but we have two animals, as well as a few maps.
So, now I would like to open up a few things. First of all, your jobs. If you could come up with a list of things related to your jobs (like plants for farmers, or minerals for miners) that are different than what we have on Earth (Like a whole new plant and it's properties. For example, the strato plant, which can be woven into clothes.). I will look at the list and hopefully say everything there is great. This is just something for you to do.
Another thing. These are open to everyone, so just find me at school if you want to clarify anything. First: Anyone who wants to make a flag can submit it to me and I will pick one. Second: We need an anthem. Anyone who can come up with some notes and words and make them have something to do with Crystal City should make one and tell me, and I will choose one. Thirdly, everyone should give me colors they want for their skin and hair, and also any structural preferences (short, tall, skinny, large). Lastly, anyone who can design an unusual animal, tell me or just make one! Really, we need all the help we can get!

A Simple Post
Well, today I do not have much to say about the city.
I'm sorry for that, but the news I do have is currently - well, I'm not going to post it simply because, well, for one reason I'm not sure I agree with all of it, also because my vice president came up with most of it.
Anyway, we are not sure (at the current point in time) if we want to close down Pyrthe. I don't want to, as we have many pyrthens who care a lot about the city. At the same time, we have a few who do not as much. But this blog is not for my personal feelings, it is for Pyrthe. So I cannot let my emotions run wild at this point in time. It does not matter if I am angry (on this blog, at least) Anyway, let's move on and talk about Pyrthe.
Now we have nearly 40 members, it's possible that we might even have over 40. Which is pretty amazing, this being the 7th day. It really is awesome. I can tell you that some artwork of animals and a law book will be going up soon, but today was just a little post to tell you what has been happening. I probably will post less now and only when I have news, but I felt bad about skipping yesterday, so I wanted to do this. Anyway.

Ze Star System
Hello, pyrthens!
There's not much to talk about today. I have decided a few things about the star system, though. Anyway, before we get into that, I want to say that I hope everyone is having a good weekend. This post IS going to be a little short, though. Just saying.
So, let's get into some more information. Now, there isn't much, but I wanted to give you something on our moons and stars. Number 1: We live in a binary star system. For those who don't know what that is, it's basically a star system with two stars. Number 2: The stars in our systems are different. One is blue-white and one is red. Number 3: The stars have names. The blue one is is Yazvok, and the red one is Tukva. I did not name them, FYI. Number 4: We have 3 moons. Yes, we are very awesome, and yes, we have 1 planet, 2 stars and 3 moons. Ha-ha...ha.......ha. Not that funny.... Moving on. Number 5: The moons also have names. The first one is Zanyat, the second is Pyre, and the third is Sanani. That is all the information for today, and sadly the whole post. I will (hopefully) have news for tomorrow, so stay tuned!

The 3rd Post / 4th Day
Hello yet again. It's me. Hey.
Well, that was awkward. Anyway, time for another update.
Now, not much has happened between yesterday and today. I got a few more recruits, we designed a map, and I was talking to my fellow pyrthens so much in class that my teacher told me off for it. Also we were using computers so... never mind. This blog is not about my personal life.
We came up with a few more rules, but I'm not going to share the rule book on this blog till it's complete. I mean, that's just a waste of time.
So I will hopefully post everyday (and by the way, if I am ever not leader anymore then I will either take the blog down or keep writing even though I will be a sailor or something) but the posts are going to be a little shorter now that there isn't as much information I need to tell you guys. Well, I don't have much to say, so let's give a few things that may be in the near future.
Number 1: Animals. The problem is, animals are hard. I will get to work (hopefully) designing some over the weekend. Maybe I'll use Spore. (anyone know that game?) Number 2: An actual map of the city. Not my job, people, not my job. Number 3: Enemies. I'm only saying that because (nearly) ALL the boys want to be in the army. I'm not kidding. Number 4: A planned galaxy. I am working on it but I really don't know anything about astronomy. Number 5: A completed rule book.
